22 September 1984, Princess Astrid married Lorenz, Archduke of Austria-Este, who became Prince of Belgium in 1995. The couple have five children, all born in Belgium: Amedeo (21 February 1986), Maria Laura (26 August 1988), Joachim (9 December 1991), Luisa Maria (11 October 1995) and Laetitia Maria (23 April 2003).

 

The wedding of Prince Laurent and Miss Claire Coombs took place in Brussels on 12 April 2003. She became Princess of Belgium in 2003. The couple have three children: Princess Louise Sophie Mary, born on 6 February 2004; Prince Nicolas Casimir Marie and Prince Aymeric Auguste Marie, born on 13 December 2005.
